I, Dominic Smith, majored in Criminal Justice and Psychology and obtained my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Dakota. After 15 months as a Correctional Officer with the S.D. State Penitentiary, I went on to earn my law degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law in May, 2001. I practiced in Sioux Falls for over nine years, then moved to Southwest Minnesota to focus my practice on estate planning and farm succession. I am licensed to practice law in both South Dakota and Minnesota. I earned my National Trial Academy Diploma in July 2005, have argued in front of the South Dakota Supreme Court, and I am licensed to practice in Federal District Court. I am a member of Wealth Counsel and the Probate and Trust Law sections of the Minnesota State Bar Association.

I, my wife Kristin, and our four children: Isaac, Gabriel, Elijah, and Karlena reside in Marshall, Minnesota. I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, small home-improvement and wood-working projects, reading, being outdoors and doing physical activity. My family and I maintain active church participation and strive to be purposeful in our faith.

I, Kristin Smith, majored in Psychology and also obtained my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Dakota. I have worked for the past 15+ years in a variety of roles in the Banking and Finance world. In February of 2013 I joined the firm as the new Office Manager and Funding Coordinator. Any free time I have, outside of normal "mom" duties, I spend writing on one of two blogs I manage. I also enjoy reading and finding inexpensive ways to remodel/paint the rooms in our new home. It is exciting to be able to walk alongside Dominic to help grow his business and I feel blessed to be a part of the "team".
